Fife Creek is an important creek and watershed to Guerneville and Sonoma County. Its headwaters come from Armstrong Woods Reserve and flows through the town of Guerneville to the Russian River. Friends of Fife Creek have been doing clean up and restoration for years in the riparian areas headed up by Vira (AKA The California Mermaid ®) and Dave Morton, horticulturist.
